Is my mask safe to use for COVID-19?
During the current COVID-19 pandemic, foreign retailers, distributors and manufacturers of respirator and surgical masks sell fake, unsafe or uncertified masks all over the world. This application helps you to quickly analyze your face mask and to check if is a genuine safe product that will protect you from the corona virus.
Disclaimer: This prototype was built during a 24h long hackathon, with few, unreliable and biased data. It is merely a proof of concept and not meant to be used in the wild. The results of the classification will not ensure your safety during COVID-19! Please don't rely on this app, and please stay safe!
Check your mask
Take a picture of your mask to verify if it is safe to use during the COVID-19 pandemic. The analysis will run completely in the browser and will not store any pictures on our server.
